IM SO EXCITED....

Ok so yeah...so excited...I just got back from my vacation home to California and I have been waiting to sign up for the REMAINS OF THE DAY JOURNAL CLASS ONLINE and I DID IT!!!! I just got my email with all of the information and I am so excited to read and look around and get started...

Father's Day gift

I know I know, Father's Day was like 2 weeks ago. I left for vacation right after that and just have not had a chance to update.

Vacation Update

We went to Santa Cruz on Monday with my sis and her hubby and kids...we had a great day and I got some awesome pictures. It was so nostalgic...I remember going there as a child. I took so many pictures of all the signs and the old fashioned candy and games...I really went crazy and I can't wait to get home and make a few mini albums to document that day of our vacation.

Home to visit...got here Friday and have been going non stop since...stayin at my best friend Renee's and having a good time...visiting, going places, seeing people...
It's good to be home...good to be with friends and around people who love me and i love in return.

Mini Travel Album

I got this kit and it uses cosmo crickets new papers. I cannot remember where I ordered the kit from but when I do I will post it.
It came with directions but I did my own thing after the first couple of pages. I sewed on each page, distressed also and made sure there is a pocket on each page. The kit came with so many chipoard pieces and tags to cut out. I really love how it turned out and I can't wait to fill it with memories from my trip home to California. I leave this week...YaY!!!

Ok so today my goal is to finish cleaning...work out on my pilotes machine and, I went to Michael's and picked up a take out box and some cool "guy type" paper and I am going to try to get a jump start on something for hubby for father's day.
Going to recover the take out box and make paper fortune cookies with little messages and special treats. I got the idea over here @ http://transparenttouches.blogspot.com/ I stumbled on this blog and I love love it.

Tomorrow I would really like to try to get something done in my art journal and get started on an ANGER page for SFTIO.

Jeeze do I have a lot of things I can scrap about with Anger as the subject. I think it will be a great outlet. Once again I just have to get comfortable with seeing it on paper.
It is very hot here and very humid and a very good chance at some serious Thunder storms today so...a good day to get some indoor things accomplished.

Art Journal

A little something else I decided to try. I have seen so many awesome journals online and I had this little book that I got at goodwill. I went through and glued 2 pages together through the whole book and I am going to do an art journal. Going to try to do something at least 5 days a week so I will try to post. Here is the cover. I pained it brown and then used crackle medium and put the color tapioca on top of that. I used some Tim Holtz grunge board that I distressed with Tim Holtz ink. The heart and wings are from Miss Marah Johnson. I'm going to try to do a page before days end so Ill try to post.

Love Yourself

WoW it's been awhile since I posted. I made this layout from the Scrapbooking From The Inside Out April kit.

I have gotten a kit every month since December and I have got to get more layout's done. I have been in a funk. There are so many things I can relate to for the challenges I just gotta figure out how to get them on the page. I have to just get past the fear of actually seeing what I feel on paper.

B-Day Card

This is a card I made for my niece for her 14th birthday. I got a huge box of sassafrass papers last month so I used some of those. It was in April but I am just getting around to getting a picture of it on my blog. 

I also have to make a BDay card for her sister so hoping to have that done by the end of this week.

Today ughh

Today was an awful day. I hate the ugliness that just pours out of people on a daily basis and it is really wearing me thin being around it all day. On top of everything else I am going through right now, my son is stressing me out so badly and I really dont know how much longer it is going to be before he starts acting almost 20 and not 2!!!

I am going to read my book (The Postmistress by Sarah Blake) and wait for the Housewives of New Jersey to come on...Just before that comes on I am going to go upstairs to my awesomely comfy bed and the world can kiss my rear for the remainder of the day...

I hope and pray tomorrow will be better, actually I know it will because I get to see my husband tomorrow night. That makes me very happy...I love you babe

Happy Mother's Day

Had a wonderful day today...Slept until Noon. I got an awesome card from Melissa and had a beautifully wrapped gold box waiting for me to open...

A beautiful Jane Seymour Key from her signature collection. It has her open heart design in diamonds in the top part and there are black diamonds on the lower part of the key. I love it so so much. It's good to be the mamma =0)

Clouds

Life is crazy...sometimes full of clouds but the sunshine is always on the other side of those clouds and manages to find it's way and shine through. Here are some pictures I took last night. Clouds are full of hope and change for brighter days!!
